Commercial Direction

The Selling Point

La Vista City Centre (LVCC) is a multi-use development community aiming to revitalize a once bustling neighborhood on the outskirts of Omaha. From restaurants, to commercial office spaces and apartments, to a concert venue, the goal was to position LVCC as the next big thing for young adults to live, work and play.

In order to achieve this, many vital pieces of content were needed to convey the proper messaging. One in particular, is a “day in the life” for Vivere Apartment residents. Showcasing the modern amenities, community atmosphere, and young professional lifestyle, I led creative direction for a photo and video production. These creative assets would serve as the foundation for other marketing and branding efforts for LVCC including organic social media, paid advertising, website re-development, brand partnerships, and promotional materials.

The Production

On the day of the shoot, I reviewed the shot list and coordinated with other team members and models on which pieces needed to be filmed at what optimal time. For example, we first needed to film apartment scenes in the best natural light as the window was west-facing and would become a problem with photography later on in the day. In addition to team setup, I staged the apartment with decor and removed any unnecessary distractions from the model unit.
